With minimalist presentation and maximal intent, Minority Music treats every release as documentation of identity in motion.

The debut series introduces the pseudonymous cultural commentator Garvey Cabral, whose projects honour Queen Nanny of the Maroons and dub poet Benjamin Zephaniah.

His debut album, Benn vs Eubank - Volume I of Infinite Games, explores Black British male identity through the lens of two epic rivalries, using boxing and its history as metaphor.

 

Minority Music treats AI like a DJ’s turntable, a tool for sampling sound, language, and memory in new configurations.

Every Garvey Cabral track begins as text: researched, written, and reasoned.

AI expands these foundations the way a producer layers samples or a historian layers evidence, adding tone, texture, and context to the story.

The aim is not to compete with artists or musicians, but to ignite consciousness and provide a griot-like record of history through lived and inherited narratives.
